Poronui Hunting
Poronui’s 16,000 acres are also home to all five of the North Island deer species in a large 3,000 acre game estate. Hunt New Zealand Red Stag, Sika, Fallow Rusa and Sambar in one location before returning and sharing your stories with fellow outdoor enthusiasts each evening. Hunt through native beech forest, eucalyptus plantations and over shrub covered hills; the terrain is challenging, but achievable and the hunt is always exciting.
