The Westervelt team has been sustainably managing forests for more than a century and can help provide expert guidance and vision on land management to meet customers’ goals and objectives for their land, whether it is wildlife enhancement, forest health or timber management.
Woodlands manages more than half a million acres in forests, with a goal of maximizing the land and timber value to produce quality timber products, enhance wildlife habitat and recreation use, and maintain the environmental integrity of the forests.
This group consists of specialists from across the forestry industry, including Forest Genetics, Silviculture, Woodflow and Operations Professionals.
Since the first hunt in 1951, the Westervelt hunting lodge has established a reputation for providing exceptional outdoor experiences. Westervelt Lodge sets the standard for exceptional free-range hunting and personalized customer service.
Westervelt timberlands provide a bit of everything for outdoor sports enthusiasts, from big and small game hunting, to waterfowl and wing shooting, to freshwater fishing. Escape the everyday routine and stress by spending the day from dawn until dusk in some of the south’s most beautiful and bountiful woodlands.
Westervelt Wildlife Services offer wildlife and hunting habitat management guidance based on each landowner’s specific goals, as well as science-based wildlife management plans. While most clients request help in maximizing the quality of their deer herd, we have a staff of experienced wildlife biologists with diverse specialties that provide a wide range of customized wildlife species management.
