The Westervelt Company Names New President and CEO (04/05/17)

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – April 5, 2017 – The Westervelt Company is pleased to announce Brian Luoma as President and CEO, effective March 20, 2017. He will assume the role held by Mike Case, who recently announced his retirement after more than 32 years with the company. Brian will assume management and strategic planning responsibility for the land resource organization which includes Westervelt Lumber, Westervelt Renewable Energy, Westervelt Forest Resources, Westervelt Communities, Westervelt Ecological Services and Westervelt New Zealand.

Brian brings three decades of forest and building products industry experience to his new role, most recently as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Siding, with Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. Since 1987, he has held roles of increasing responsibility with the company including operations, supply chain, sales and marketing, procurement and business development.
