POSITION: Biological Monitoring Coordinator                                    

DIVISION: Westervelt Ecological Services                               

LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

POSITION PROFILE:

The purpose of this position is to coordinate, track, conduct, and report on biological monitoring and compliance aspects of WES' conservation projects.   The Biological Monitoring Coordinator will also assist in collecting baseline biological information for proposed projects and support the entitlement process with this information.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  1. Requires bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management, Ecology, Botany, Wildlife Biology or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience collecting, organizing and presenting biological resource or ecological data.
  3. Field survey work or related experience with wetlands and California biological resources.
  4. Experience evaluating biological survey data against ecological performance standards.
  5. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

The qualifications of individuals applying for this position will be compared to the above criteria. Only those having qualifications that meet the selection criteria may be interviewed for the position.
